The Electrolux SensePro® hob with wireless food sensor guides you through your cooking with a variety of settings and functions. Suitable for different foods and dishes.
Using the food sensor for the first time
Before you use the food sensor for the first time, you need to calibrate it to ensure accurate temperature readings. Follow these instructions to calibrate your SensePro® food sensor.
How to use the food sensor
Inserting the food sensor into food
Insert the food sensor into the food to at least the minimum level mark. For liquids, immerse the food sensor into the liquid 2-5 cm above the minimum level mark to get the best cooking results.
Placing the food sensor on cookware
Place the food sensor on the rim of the cookware using the “hook” on the lower part of the black handle. To ensure optimal connection between the hob and the sensor, place the sensor close to the centre of the hob. If you’re cooking on the left side of the hob, place the sensor at a 1-3 o'clock position. If you’re cooking on the right side of the hob – place the sensor at a 9-11 o'clock position.
Checking the connection of the food sensor
On the hob display, these indicators show the strength of the connection between the hob and the food sensor:
If the hob can’t connect with the food sensor, this indicator will show. Move the food sensor along the rim of the cookware to establish or strengthen the connection. The hob refreshes every 3 seconds to find a connection.
